Mummy Makeover Surgery Sydney Services, by Dr. Niro S.

When you have children, it can be the most magical and fulfilling experience in your life; however, pregnancy is known to take its toll on a woman’s body. Lots of women have found that their breast and tummy become affected significantly after pregnancy. The tummy region may not respond in the way that you would like to exercise and diet, forbidding a flatter stomach. Additionally, folds of skin may appear because of pregnancy.

Furthermore, after pregnancy, your breasts may begin to sag and lose volume. Breastfeeding can also add to weight of pressure put onto your breasts during this time. Giving birth, breastfeeding and pregnancy in general can quite often affect women in a wide variety of detrimental ways. This is the exact reason why we offer mummy makeovers to help combat these issues.

What is Mummy Makeover Surgery?

There are 2 main parts to a mummy makeover. To start with, there is the tummy tuck. A tummy tuck is designed to contour the waist and stomach, allowing for tightening of the abdominal wall and narrowing the waistline. This describes a full tummy tuck; however, a partial tummy tuck may also take place. This involves tightening the lower abdominal muscles through smaller incisions.

Secondly, we come to breast augmentation. This cosmetic surgery aims to increase the size and most importantly for mums, volume, back to the breasts. We may use fat transfers, breast implants or a mixture of the two to achieve the overall aim. It is usually advisable to increase your size by only one or two cups for an optimal and natural appearance.
