What is Thigh Lift Surgery?

Thigh lifts are designed to remove fat and sagging skin from around your thigh area. One of the most common reasons to choose this surgery is to address excess skin from significant weight loss. When an individual loses a lot of weight, it is often a fantastic feat and something to be proud of. However, the problem with losing large amounts of weight quickly is the build-up of excess skin that can be left behind. Through our thigh lift procedures, we can aim to smoothen and reshape your thighs. Our goal is to remove excess skin that can attribute to a lack of confidence and provide logistical and medical problems. Additionally, we can aim to promote a shapelier appearance and a smoother look to your thighs.

Before undergoing any thigh lift procedure, it is vital that your cosmetic doctor decides which surgery is right for you. Your surgery will usually be conducted under general anaesthetic and your surgeon will make incisions around your thighs to cut and remove excess fat cells and skin. Once the fat and excess skin has been removed, your incisions will be closed.
